Jeff Simpson assumed the role of CEO at Deseret Management Corporation (DMC) in 2023, while serving as Managing Director of BYU Broadcasting. Formerly the President and Publisher of Deseret News and the President of Deseret Book Company, he also served as the President and CEO of Bonneville International, overseeing TV and radio properties in the western United States.

Simpson's diverse media background began at Walt Disney Pictures and Television. Later, he founded Excel Entertainment Group, which became a top 10 independent media distributor. Jeff has actively contributed to volunteer work, holding various Church callings and serving on the boards of the National Association of Broadcasters, National News Media Alliance and other community organizations. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Karen.
