Tanya Vea is the president of Bonneville International. She joined Bonneville in 2010 as the executive vice president of cross-platform development and helped lead the formation of a combined news division, bringing together TV, radio, web, and newspaper. When Vea joined Bonneville, she brought with her 14 years of television experience, including 12 years with the CBS owned station group where she was an award-winning journalist, held several news management positions and led news operations through a station acquisition.
A Salt Lake City native, Vea graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in Broadcast Communications and Sociology. She has been active volunteer for many organizations impact positive change in the community including United Way and The Adoption Exchange. Vea was recognized with the University of Utah, Department of Communications Quintus C. Wilson Alumni Award in 2008, and with the Society of Professional Journalists, Josephine Zimmerman Pioneer in Journalism Award in 2015. She is married and has one son.
